FAQs
Not at all! Our vocal coaches are here to support you at every level, whether you’re a complete singing beginner or a seasoned gigging professional. Our vocal instructors hold both undergraduate and graduate degrees in voice performance and vocal pedagogy and are actively performing in the local scene. This means they not only possess the expertise on “how to sing” but also the practical experience to accelerate your progress toward your goals. In other words, even if your experience is simply singing to yourself, it counts!
This common question often arises: Can anyone learn to sing? While you can expect to notice progress after your very first lesson with the right vocal coach, it’s crucial to recognize that your voice is essentially a muscle—the vocal folds—that requires time and practice to achieve improved coordination for singing. Typically, singers experience an immediate difference when they begin lessons, but the most substantial vocal improvements tend to manifest between 3 to 6 months into lessons, with lasting vocal habits solidifying over 1 to 2 years. Just like sculpting a six-pack, vocal development isn’t an overnight process, so it’s essential to pace yourself on your journey to vocal excellence.
Our lessons are $50 for a half hour and $95 for an hour lessons. We offer a discounted rate if you are looking for more cost effective lessons through the monthly subscription program. The rates for our monthly subscription are $188/month for half hour and $370/month for hour lessons.
Our free consultation is one of our best services for someone who wants to try a voice lesson before committing. At the consultation, you will meet either in-person or virtually with the instructor of your choice and get a feel for who they are and how they teach to see if you will be a good team! The instructor will go over your goals, what you want to accomplish in lessons, and walk you through some basic vocal exercises and give you their feedback. Interested? Sign up here!
