Music Therapy and Adaptive
Services
Adaptive Music Lessons
-
Music lessons, made accessible. Our adaptive approach tailors instruction to each student’s learning style, abilities, and needs. Using flexible teaching methods, visual supports, and modified instruments when helpful, we create a supportive space where neurodiverse students can build skills, confidence, and a genuine love of music—at their own pace.
Clinical Music Therapy
-
Led by Board-Certified Music Therapists, our clinical music therapy services use music as a tool to support emotional regulation, communication, motor skills, and cognitive development. Sessions are individualized and goal-driven, meeting each client exactly where they are. Through active music-making, clients experience growth, connection, and healing in a creative, affirming environment.
Mommy & Me
-
A playful, welcoming space to connect with your little one through music. These caregiver-and-child classes use singing, movement, and hands-on instrument play to support early language, motor, and social development. Just as importantly, they offer a chance to slow down, bond, and connect with other families in a joyful community setting.

FAQs
Great question! The difference lies in the goal.
Adaptive Lessons are for students who want to learn an instrument (like piano or guitar) but need a flexible, supportive teaching style due to neurodiversity or learning differences.
Clinical Music Therapy focuses on non-musical goals like emotional regulation, speech development, or motor skills. Music is the tool we use to reach those goals.
No. While many of our clients have diagnoses such as Autism (ASD), ADHD, or anxiety, you do not need a referral or medical diagnosis to book services. If you feel you or your child would benefit from a therapeutic approach, you are welcome here.
We are a private pay studio and do not bill insurance directly. However, we can provide a detailed superbill/invoice upon request that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend checking with your provider first.
We currently offer adaptive instruction in Piano, Voice, Guitar, Ukulele, and Songwriting. During your free consultation, our therapist can help recommend which instrument might be the best fit for your student’s motor skills and interests.
We work with all ages! Our Mommy & Me sessions are perfect for toddlers and early childhood development. Adaptive Lessons and Clinical Therapy are available for children, teens, and adults.
Absolutely. For many students, having a parent present provides a sense of safety. As the student gains confidence and independence, we may transition to the parent waiting in the lobby, but we always work at the family’s pace.
You don’t have to guess! We offer a Free 30-minute Consultation with our music therapist. You can come in, meet Caroline, see the space, and discuss your goals. We will help guide you to the program that best fits your needs.
