Dana enjoys serving the community and has spent several summers being a counselor at Girls Rock Boston Campaign and We Rock! DC, which focuses on improving young girls’ and women’s self-confidence through music learning. During her time with the Girls Rock Camp Alliance, she served as a voice class instructor, band manager, and songwriting and stage presence workshop leader.
In addition to youth and adult music camps, music education brought Dana to Hussman Institute for Autism, where she served as a program support and research assistant for children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Two years later, Dana became a certified Registered Behavior Technician and trained in Autism Support to help children with autism and other developmental disorders work through communication, behavior management, and other related social and emotional difficulties.
